Welcome to eastern Sun coaching and conscious connected breathwork
If you have signed up for a group or 1:1 breathwork session and have yet to complete our Breathwork Intake Form, please take a moment to do so.
We look forward to breathing with you soon. Please review the following details in preparation for your upcoming breathwork session.
In preparation:
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye cover.
Water and lip balm are nice to have on hand.
Wear comfortable clothes.
Avoid alcohol or mind-altering substances at least 24 hours before the session, as they can dull or limit the experience.
Please also be mindful of eating a big meal immediately beforehand. Light snacking is okay, but avoid a big meal 2-3 hours before your session.
Bring a journal if you would like, for your insights and integration.
Trust and relax.
In addition, for Virtual Sessions:
Please set up your space. Again, I recommend a yoga mat, pillow, blanket(s), water, and eye cover. Lying on a bed is fine; don't get too comfy so you don't immediately fall asleep.
Ensure your privacy and that you won't be interrupted by people or pets. Silence your devices, including any vibration.
Headphones are recommended to improve the quality of the sound and make you more immersed in the experience. I will be playing music through Zoom. A good speaker works as well.
Please keep your camera on so I can observe you during the practice and cue accordingly.
After your session:
Nourish yourself with high prana food, and be sure to hydrate.
Avoid alcohol or mind-altering substances after the session. Give yourself time to integrate with a clear mind and heart, ideally for 48-72 hours after your breathwork journey.
If you have grounding or self-care practices that you like to participate in, the next few days are a great time to lean into those practices. Take a hot Epsom salt bath, journal, meditate, get outside, and commune with nature. Do the things that nourish your heart and soul.
This practice has a time-release effect. In the days following your session, you may have additional insights, downloads, or more vivid dreams. It could be useful to keep a journal handy to track these.
I'm available to talk to you before or after if you have any questions. Big emotions can arise, and I'm here to support you.
Thank you for reading all of this and coming to the circle prepared. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to guide you through this practice as we breathe in love.
Gratefully,
Rico Sol
